The strawberries are ripe and plentiful so we celebrated an early Father’s Day up at Riley’s Farm.
Another garage sale find- new-to-us handmade bonnets- $1 each. Perfect for pickin’ berries and playing dress up.

We presented dad with a small Father’s Day gift. He’s actually had his eye on this for a while now (ever since we saw our friend, Todd with one). It’s the Nifty Nabber! Morgan doesn’t like seeing trash wherever he goes and he ends up picking it up with his hands. This will be a lot better on his back and a good way we can practice being good stewards of the earth.
Who says NRA members can’t also care about the environment?
When we come here, we always dream about living in the country! One day… God willing.

They had chicks for sale at the local Feed & Supply in Cherry Valley. NO we did NOT come home with any chicks!
