Our last stop was on this trip was Campland On The Bay. This was a huge RV and tent campground along San Diego's Mission Bay. COTB had lots of amenities and activities for all to enjoy. The highlight without a doubt was the 22 ft., 11 person ski boat that Morgan's brother, Ben rented for all of us. We spent over 4 hours on the water, tubing and skiing. The girls even took several turns tubing and did a great job hanging on! It was so much fun!!
The weather was beautiful and we had a blast making some PRICELESS summer memories. Thank you, Ben!!
Although COTB wasn't exactly my idea of camping (i'm used to more of a naturalist camping experience- less people, more space, in the woods or on the beach), it was great fun to be with family and have the bay and marina right there. The girls loved their first camping experience. They enjoyed sleeping in the tent, being with their cousins, getting dirty, and of course, experiencing new adventures. We managed to fit one queen and one full sized blow up mattress in our tent so it was perfect for us and actually quite comfortable. Thank you to my friend, Melissa for allowing us to borrow their family tent!
We're already looking forward to our next camping adventure!
if i HAVE to camp that is how i want to do it... right on the beach with lots of fun toys! :)
Our tent is your tent anytime you want to borrow it - glad your family enjoyed camping...looks like some amazing memories were made :D
Hugs,
MelJ
