 Boys and barbershops.

Our barber, Little Ivan (a.k.a Indio) is our go-to barber for Zach. He's so patient and kind.

 All cleaned up! 💗

Never mind the hair. Look at those dreamy eyes. #imelt 💘

Trying on mama's glasses.

We've had beautiful weather to be outside!

He loves all animals and ducks are no exception.

Too nice of a day to do school inside.
Mid-70's calls for a picnic lunch and a good book.

And of course, a bike ride. Look what he found?

Boy in action.

This Sunday, the girls did their annual Operation Christmas Child announcement at church.
If I'm counting correctly, this is the 4th year in a row that they've been asked to do it.
We count it as an incredible privilege to encourage the church to pack shoeboxes and spread the gospel to kids around the world. They did beautifully!

Lastly, my heart is heavy for the families and victims of Sutherland Springs and the recent church shooting. An evil act was committed as these families came together to worship God on Sunday morning. It's not lost on me that our girls were up on stage at the beginning of all 3 services this Sunday. Often, our toddler is with us during the worship time, as well. This unspeakable act of violence happened in Texas but it could've happened anywhere. It's heartbreaking to think of the 26 innocent lives that were lost that morning.

Lord, be with these families and give them peace as they grieve from this horrific crime. Help us to stand united in faith, clinging to the hope of Your promise. This world is full of evil but You are still in control. You will overcome. Jesus, please come quickly.

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." -John 16:33
