Lastly, the traditional Jello Flag Cake.

I thought about making something different but since we were taking this over to Grandma’s later to share with everyone, I brought it back old school. I used to make this cake every 4th of July.

Always a crowd pleaser, for sure.

These are a few of the easy treats we made this week in honor of Independence Day. I hope one day, the girls will carry on the tradition of celebrating holidays in a simple but meaningful way with their own families.
