Hailey took this picture and I’m so glad she did. This is Grace- right after volunteering to play a game and then winning a prize (2 pieces of candy in her hands). As she walked back, her little look said to me, “I did it, I’m proud of myself, and I even won a prize...”
But my proudest moment came as she walked right over to her sissy (who was sitting in the audience), and gave her one of the candies she won.
Awww, sniff, sniff……. my baby.
This week, the girls and I are fully immersed in Summer Spectacular (our church’s version of VBS). This is our 3rd year participating and once again, I have the privilege of being the girls’ shepherd, along with my girlfriend, Hailey.
Faith and Grace have waited a LONG time for this week and it’s finally here!! Bonus- since they’re now 5, they get to fully participate in ALL the fun activities for the day. That means a lot more worship time with Rob Biagi (which they love!) as well as story time, games, and recreation. Today’s lesson was about God’s Plan. He knows what’s best for me.

On campus: over 1,000 kids + 400 volunteers!
Ministry Focus: The goal is to raise $10,000 for Cherish Uganda; a ministry that works with orphaned children in Uganda who have been affected by HIV and AIDS.
Should be a spectacular week! But for now, I’m off to take a nap!
