Easter Candy Bark

20 April 2011

The pastel colors of Easter.

Breaking up the cookies.

Melted Milk Chocolate is never bad.

Spread out on parchment paper.

Add drops of melted pink candy melts.

Swirl with a knife.

Decorate as you please.

Whoa, that's quite a candy explosion!

Here's what we used. I didn't want to invest in a large bags of Robin Eggs or Reese's Pieces so I just bought the mini cartons. Use whatever candy you like.

Cool for 3 hours in the fridge.

Break into pieces and then try to eat just one piece... or not.

This is just a "method" of making your own bark so you could certainly put your own twist on it by adding your favorite things. White Chocolate would be good as well. And for more of a salty twist, peanuts or pretzels would be tasty, too. Have fun!
