It would be an understatement to say that I've been looking forward to warmer temps here in the desert. It seems like it's been an unusually cold and long winter to me but then again, I've become quite the wimp since moving here 3.5 years ago. Everywhere else in the world seems cold to me- uh... because it is! In addition to warmer temps, I've also been looking forward to daylight savings weekend. Who doesn't want an extra hour of sunlight to play outside?

Once a month, Morgan and I have decided to take the girls with us to big church on Saturday nights. We want to get them used to sitting still, listening to the sermon, experiencing worship time with us, and discussing the message afterwards. They did great on Saturday night and the message was a good one about true forgiveness. Having the option of going to church on Saturdays is always nice because that leaves Sundays wide open for some great family bonding time. We went to the Street Fair on Sunday morning where we enjoyed walking around in the sunshine and listening to a local band that we first fell in love with at the LQ Resort. I also scored a pair of $5 knock-off D&G sunglasses! In the afternoon, we spent some time in our backyard blowing bubbles and playing in the sandbox. It was a beautiful day and a perfect way to spend Sunday with the ones I love.

We are warming up to the mid and high 80's all week! Couldn't ask for better weather for our pool party next weekend! Can't wait!
