Safety first!

Coronado was a blast! We had so many fun memories throughout our week. It was sunny and 80 everyday so the weather was just perfect. Our stay was made even more comfortable with a surprise upgrade to a villa for the week (courtesy of Emily and her Marriott hook-ups). It was great to have more space, a big bathroom, a kitchen, and our very own duck pond (which the girls loved). Thanks, Em! You rock!

Since there are so many pictures of our vacation, I'll be posting some of them here throughout the entire week. Our first stop on our trip was a visit to see Jennifer and Bryan in Escondido. The girls enjoyed playing with their cousins and couldn't stop talking about them all week. Kyle and Mitchell showed Faith and Grace how to play the game Rock Band. It was pretty cute. Thanks for lunch and the short but sweet visit, guys!

The little island of Coronado was a great place to get away. There were two parks next door to our resort so the girls had plenty of space to run around and chase after birds and dogs. The family bike ride was a favorite. The girls waved and said "hi" to everyone and loved being up high on a moving bike. The skyline of downtown San Diego, the active outdoor lifestyle, and being near the ocean sure made me miss living in San Diego!
