Morgan and I are headed up the central coast this morning to visit Roy, Morgan's younger brother and his wife, Laura in Arroyo Grande (San Luis Obispo area). We'll be spending the 4th with them and then making our way over to that quaint Danish village, Solvang on Saturday afternoon to attend the wedding of Coco and Bryan. Coco is Morgan's assistant at work. This is the first time that we will be leaving the girls for more than just one night. Rich and Emily arrived yesterday afternoon and they'll be staying at our house until we come home on Sunday. I am a little nervous about leaving the girls for the whole weekend but in many ways, it's just the normal sort of anxiety that all moms have when leaving their children for any length of time. The reassuring part is that the girls love their Uncle Rich and Auntie Emily and always have a blast with them. Emily is absolutely wonderful and nurturing with the girls and Rich's middle name is FUN! I know they're in great hands so I will do my best to try and relax, not call too much, and enjoy myself.Happy 4th everyone!
