Or as some would call it... Pee! Today is the first day that Grace went pee in the potty. She earned herself one M&M and was quite proud of herself! Faith has not even peed in the potty yet. I guess when I think about it, it's not really all that surprising. They are complete opposites in many ways. I have just learned of a book called, "Toilet Training in Less Than a Day" by Azrin & Foxx. An Educational Child Therapist came to speak at my mom's group this week and she highly recommended this book. I guess this is some proven method that's been around since the 70's. The book has sold over 2 million copies. One caveat is that it is written for training children with well-developed cognitive abilities and motor skills (the book recommends about 2-1/2 for girls, 3 for boys). It also provides a readiness test to see if your child has the skills necessary to successfully complete the training. We'll see. If the girls aren't ready now, they're sure to be very soon. Many days of accidents (X's 2!) can't be fun for any of us. All of the reviews on the book were excellent and those that commented seemed to have huge success. I figured for a few bucks, it was definitely worth the read. Way to go, Gracie! We are so proud of you!Wee!
