Tamale Festival Christmas Parade

18 December 2017

A couple of weeks ago, we went to our hometown Christmas Parade,
which also happens to be the annual Tamale Festival.

Zach loves the marching bands.

Merry Mariachis.

He was into the noise makers.

The dancing horses were a sight to behold.

The Grand Marshall of the parade this year was none other than the Tamale.

And Santa always rides in at the end.

He wasn't too sure about getting close to the giant tamale.

But he did find his way into yet another, fire truck. 😄

The Tamale Festival Christmas Parade is the closest thing we have to a hometown parade. It's practically in our backyard and it's always held on the first Saturday in December. It's a great way to kick off the Christmas season, as well as bring home some award winning tamales for dinner.
