Ellie’s first recital.
The girls performed in another Christmas recital over the weekend and we are so proud of them for all the practice they put into their pieces. Both said they were nervous and had a hard time sleeping the night before. Well, you would have never guessed it because Faith walked up to that piano and gave a beautiful and confident performance. When it was Grace’s turn, she sang a timeless hymn and brought many people to tears with her genuine heart of worship (including her whole family).
What a joy its been to watch the girls grow in character through their music. It produces many virtuous qualities—and believe me, not all of them come easy but it’s something we’ve grown to prioritize as a daily part of our homeschool experience. Our hope for the girls is that they would use their gifts and talents to glorify the Lord in all they do, while blessing others along the way.
Praise God for giving them a heart and excitement to do just that.
And now that it’s over, they can’t wait for the next one!
