We have the desire to be in regular fellowship with other families while encouraging and challenging one another in the Word but honestly, being involved in a small group study during the evenings can be a little difficult for us. The Lord recently put it on our heart to host a bi-monthly study (for families), immediately after the church service on Sunday.
Our pastor provides detailed study questions at the end of each sermon so we’ve decided to use those as the basis of our study. Having just spent the morning in church, the teaching remains fresh in our minds and we have the opportunity as parents, to lead by example and engage the children throughout the discussion as well.
We hosted our first family study yesterday and it was such a sweet sweet time! What a blessing to hear all the children participate!
We look forward to inviting new friends in the future and Lord willing, growing this family focused ministry!
