Yes, I know, it’s not even Thanksgiving yet but this time of year begins to fly by at lightening speed about this time. Honestly, it seems like I was just getting used to the fact that summer was over and now, here we are, holidays fast approaching.
It is, in fact, our most favorite time of year! Especially when you’ve got kids!
We’re looking forward to hosting Thanksgiving for my family this year. When I host, we like to do our Christmas prepping a little earlier than usual. It just makes the season seem less hectic and we can enjoy it a bit longer as well. Plus, it’s fun, festive and beautiful!
One of my favorite holiday candles.
Reminiscing on all of our wonderful family vacations.
All aboard!!
Fantastic memories in Cabo!
Two of the best gifts I’ve ever received!
Grace raided our seasonal closet while all the Christmas stuff was out.
Early in the morning, Morgan and I had our “special time” with each of the girls. We took them out to breakfast and ran some errands together. They relish this individual time they get to spend with each of us. It always amazes me how much the girls think about each other (in such a sweet way) when they’re not together. Today, Grace wanted to get her sister a gift while she was out with me. As soon as she saw these two bears intertwined together (hugging), she knew that was it. She paid for it with her own money, wrapped it when she got home, and later, put it under the tree for Faith.
Faith adored her gift!
To Grace’s surprise, Faith was out with daddy this morning and they made a stop for a very special gift, too. Look at the excitement on her face!
Oh, what JOY!
Grace has waited a whole YEAR for this Jesse doll. Faith had always told her that she would get it for her one day and the day finally came. She saved up her money and asked daddy to take her to the mall (where she once saw it).
What a lesson in patience and thoughtfulness.
An early Christmas between sisters.
Oh, the deep and sweet love between these two…
Blesses my heart to no end.
