I think all little girls love butterflies. Our local Butterfly Exhibit is closed for the summer and re-opens again in October.
The girls can’t wait!
In the meantime, we attempted to make our own flutter bugs…
Food coloring and coffee filters- something I had on hand already.
We added a pipe cleaner and some felt for the body…

Cheap, fun, and totally worth it- especially considering the girls had a blast playing with them for at least an hour afterwards!
