We celebrated Independence Day with grateful prayer, good food, family, and of course, fireworks!
These festive decorations were made from the rocks and shells the girls collected from our beach trip.

They even helped me make a few Patriotic treats…
Grandma & Grandpa joined us for a tri-tip and chicken bbq. Daddy did a fantastic job as grill master, too!
Single-serving margaritas. Yes, please! They’re not only refreshing and cute, but they hit the spot in this horrendous humidity we’ve been having. Seriously, humidity in the desert? When it’s 92 at 9 PM?!
So NOT cool. Literally.
Golf carts are great for viewing fireworks!
Happy 235th Birthday, America!
It was so wonderful to have daddy home for an extra day. I declare that every Monday should be a 3 day weekend! It promotes more balance in the home between work and family. Often times, 2 days is just not enough for a relaxing weekend, or one that’s full of adventure.
Viva, 3 day weekends!
