With one day left to go on our vacation, the girls are napping after a fun-filled morning at the pool and Morgan is downstairs working out in the resort's gym. I thought I might as well take this opportunity to start blogging so that I will have less to post when I get home. On the 16th, we flew out of LA on the red eye and the girls slept the entire non-stop 4 hour flight to Orlando. Actually, it was a breeze and things couldn't have gone any smoother.

For the first two days, we stayed at the Port Orleans Disney Resort. We chose a Disney Resort because we didn't plan on renting a car until we finished our cruise. Our only plan was to visit Disney World and if you stay at a Disney Resort, they not only pick you up in a Disney Express Bus at the airport but they also provide transportation to the nearby theme parks. It was so convenient to simply get on the bus when we landed in Orlando. We didn't even have to wait for our luggage. By the time we checked into our room, our luggage was waiting for us. Another perk of staying at a Disney Resort was that when it came time for our cruise, they took us to our cruise terminal in Cape Canaveral (over an hour away). Disney really knows how to make things seamless for families!

It took us a couple of days to adjust to the 3 hour time difference but in the short time we spent at Port Orleans, we managed to take advantage of the resort pool, take the ferry to Downtown Disney, have dinner at Wolfgang Puck's and visit Disney World. We also took a couple of 3 hour naps inbetween all the fun activities. Below are two fun videos. Enjoy!
Next up, Disney World!

They probably went down the slide about 5 or 6 times each.

Much to Morgan's delight, I posted this video. Isn't he cute?
