Happy Monday!
Hope you had a nice weekend. We were finally able to go back to church yesterday and it was so wonderful! Nothing quite like worship time with our church family.
This week, I'm determined to get caught up on here with all our vacation photos. Life is already moving forward in a new season and this mama is busy with homeschooling, therapy appointments, organizing, making meals (they keep wanting food around here!), etc.
So here we go!
We drove about an hour away from Hilton Head to Beaufort County to visit Morgan's clients who had recently moved to Coosaw Point from Dana Point.
This is a pond in their community and Zach is looking for alligators.
Seriously, they have alligators just walking around.
The Spanish Moss hanging from the trees is so quintessential to the South.
We did see a pair of eyes on top of the water but the alligator was too shy to come out that day.
The large front porches on these Southern homes were lovely.
And seeing an American flag outside was very typical.
After visiting with Morgan's clients, we took a drive to Callawassie Island.
Those clouds again were breathtaking.
We saw a couple of dolphin right here from this dock. They were so playful and came right up to us.
This is called the low country because of all the marshlands.
Beautiful!
Back at Hilton Head and out to dinner at Java Burrito.
This place was an eclectic mix of locally-fresh, scratch-made Mexican fare (think Chipotle but better) + killer coffee + breakfast + cocktails.
Next stop, Charleston!
