Last month, we were so blessed to take a family vacation to Maui!
If looking at pictures of us at various tropical beaches just doesn't float your boat, well then, you might just want to ignore the next few posts. 😉
It's sort of become a tradition, you might say. Every time he flies a new airline, he gets a new die cast jet.
#dontjudge. It keeps him entertained and it's a souvenir.

Yup, we flew Alaska to Hawaii. 😄
Land, Ho! Aloha, Maui!
We made it! All the kiddos did great!
We landed, rented our SUV, made a trip to Costco, checked into our condo, and walked across the street to our beach.
It was cloudy but still spectacular!
Within the first 5 minutes, we spotted a giant sea turtle!
This is what our beach looked like the next morning.
We called it "our beach" but locals call it Kamaole Beach Park III or Kam 3.
The girls loved exploring and collecting seashells.
Zach watching dad and his sisters snorkel off the point.
Faith climbs up, only to jump back in.
Zach and I hiked out to the point across these lava rocks.
Later that evening, we drove up to Haiku to visit a friend of mine. 🌈
Shannon moved to Maui about a year ago.
She graciously hosted us for a scrumptious dinner and gave us a tour of her farm property.
The next day, we made a trip to IAO Valley State Park.
The "Needle" or peak is 1200 feet tall from the valley floor.
We did some hiking through the lush landscaping.
Exploring together.
These cuties are almost teenagers. 😱😱
Then we hit up the local food truck scene. The girls thoroughly enjoyed their ramen bowl!
And of course, I had to try the spicy poke. Yummy! #wheninhawaii #hawaiianpoke
Next up...
More beautiful beaches and our whale watching trip!
