One Sunday after church, we went to our local desert zoo.
All decked out for Christmas.
Zach and Faith love to feed the Lorikeets.
Those squawking aggressive birds kind of creep me (and Grace) out so we tend to pass on them.

This was the first time he didn't want daddy to stand next to him.

We actually witnessed this bald eagle attack his prey and eat it. It was a frozen mouse. EEEKKK!!
He could come here and just spend hours at the train exhibit. His favorite!
The weather was spectacular so it was the perfect winter day to spend the afternoon at the Living Desert.
