Last week, we were at Family Science Camp up at Thousand Pines in Crestline!
Here we are on the first day of chapel with our desert crew.
After chapel and lunch, it was on to archery!
This year, we were so happy that our friends from San Clemente came as well, The REHARD's!!!
Elizabeth was pretty much glued to Zach.
Zach had no shortage of female attention.
Whether he wanted it or not. 😂
The low ropes course was a BIG hit!
Ga-Ga ball was once again, all the rage with the kids.
This year, evening chapel time was held outdoors.
The Wittes and Christopher enjoying some hot chocolate.
We just love the Rehard family and all SEVEN of their kids!
Zach and I never made it through a whole night of chapel.
This was the first night and it was about 7:30 when we headed back to the cabin for a shower and bed. 💤
So fun to have the Sarrouf family join us this year as well!
Someone slept well and was ready for another day of exploring!
Morgan and Ben trying to wake up in the morning.
God+Nature+Family+Fellowship+Fun = FAMILY SCIENCE CAMP!
The girls were diligent with their morning bible time.
They would get dressed early and then go out on our deck and read before the day began.
Sisterly love.
Our 3 bears.
Zach loved touching all the animals.
Snuggles, the snake.
This year's family project was building and painting a bird house.
Zach painted his side.
Luke and Zach.
Abigail and Grace are just the sweetest combination.
Being certain of what we hope for, even when we cannot see.
Once again, Zach was surrounded by 2 sisters who adore him.
I'm not even kidding when I say that the girls have been waiting ALL YEAR LONG for Family Science Camp. We were especially looking forward to this year because the Rehard family would be joining us!
We hadn't seen them in 4 years so this was a big reunion for us all.
There were twice as many campers than last year. It's almost as if every family invited another family to join them. A good thing is hard to keep quiet. 😉
Part 2, coming up!
