Another highlight of our holiday weekend… converting the girls’ twin beds into a BUNK BED!
At almost 5.5, we figured it was time.

I shared a bunk with my brother for a few years when I was young and I am now convinced, it would’ve been way more FUN with a SISTER!!
So far, they’ve turned their bunk into a fort, camped, and made a princess tower. Converting their beds, also created lots more space in their bedroom. They can now hula hoop and still have ample space to play on the floor.
From all the excitement the first night, these little missies didn’t go to bed ‘til 10pm! Good grief!
Thankfully, the next night, they were back to normal. 
In our current home, we have an extra bedroom that we didn’t have in our old home so the girls have always been given the choice to have separate rooms. However, they choose not to be apart from one another… and that’s perfectly fine with us. We’ve been happily using the extra room for play, crafts, school, and guests.
Why break up a good thing, right?
Besides, having a twin sister has got to be one of life’s most special blessings!
just lovely! I always wanted someone to share a bunk bed with too! They look so happy!
