The girls made these foam palm branches in Sunday School this morning in honor of Palm Sunday or "Passion Sunday." On this day, we remember when Jesus made his triumphal entry into Jerusalem on a donkey. The Bible reveals that when Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowds greeted him by waving palm branches and covering his path with palm fronds. Immediately following this great time of celebration, Jesus begins his journey to the cross. We will be reading from the girls' Easter book each day as we look forward to the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the celebration of Easter Sunday.

weren't the palms so cute! when i picked teagan up today from his class he waved it and said "Hosanna, Hosanna" It was so cute!
totally cute. I actually put Vivien in the 3 year old class on Saturday night for the first time too becuase I wanted her to make one!
