Yummy!Before our family arrived in the afternoon, we spent the morning baking sugar cookies and watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. The girls loved watching all the balloons and floats go by. They also performed along with the Radio City Rockettes. Too cute!
On a side note- I feel like I'm making a little progress towards loosening up on my need to have everything clean and in order. I realize that making buttery sugar cookies with flour, sprinkles, and frosting all over the place on the morning of Thanksgiving (with the house still needing to be clean and much to do) may not be a stretch for some but it was a great leap for me! :)
Well worth it, too!
o.k.... how many cookies were actually left when they were done? it looks like they ate a few along the way haha
