On Sunday morning we made the 25 minute drive from my parents' house to Newport Beach. We spent the day with two of Morgan's siblings and their families at Newport Dunes, a Waterfront RV Resort. Ben and his family were there camping all week from Bakersfield and Jennifer and her family came from Escondido and planned to stay for a couple of days. The RV resort was beautiful with lots of things to do. It had a lagoon, water activities, a swimming pool, a game room, a market place, restaurants, etc. It seemed like a fun place for families to vacation in their RV's. The girls loved spending time with their cousins. It was so neat to see them interact and just be one of the kids. We had a great time and it was so nice that we could meet up and share the day together. We ended our evening with a terrific tri-tip bbq dinner and Lucy's delicious vanilla and lemon pies. Yum-O! From there, the four of us had to say goodbye as we headed to our next destination... Pasadena.
