Well, it's the first time in 12 years that I missed an entire month of blogging. July, where did you go? Anyway, last month, Zach turned FOUR and this was the night before his big day.
He wanted a beach party again so we headed out early to meet our friends and family!
Fantastic F-O-U-R!
Love his little sand beard. 😄
Having fun, flying his kite.
It was so great to have our family join us!
All the Gough men.
It was a beautiful day, in and out of the shade.
Sweet friends came to celebrate!
Grace and Levi.
Janette and the girls taking a dip.
We had Zach's favorite for lunch... Pizza!!
Delivered right to the beach. Thanks, Domino's!
Grace and Viv.
Time to sing, "Happy Birthday!"
I can't believe he's already 4!
Look at that smile. Cheesin' big. 😁
He requested a special cake from Ms. Jill. She made him a chocolate cake with coconut frosting and it was of course, delicious! Zach called it, "Choco-nut Cake." 😄
I think he liked it. He ate two pieces.
Then he went to the cake pan and tried to scrape out more. 😂
Daddy's little shadow.
Love him so much.
More sweet cousins.
Epic gathering of family (in town for Grandpa's memorial service the next day).
Happy Birthday, son!
We're so grateful to God for Zachary. If it wasn't for him, Morgan and I might actually think we had this parenting thing down. I know, it sounds ridiculous, right? 😂 🙈
You know that bible verse in 1 Corinthians that says God uses the weak to humble the strong?
Well, God knew we needed Zach to keep us humble and relying on Him daily. This kid keeps us on our toes (and on our knees)! He's passionate, strong willed, stubborn, and fervent.
He's also sweet, sensitive, smart, and brings us so much joy!
We can't wait to see what God has planned for his future.
Thank you, Jesus for allowing us to be his family.
We love you so much, Zachary!
Here's to 4 years of keeping you alive! 😂 #forrealtho
