We live in the City of Festivals and this one is a favorite each year!
Zach couldn't just sit on the curb and wait for the parade to start. He had to walk around and check out everything. He looks like such a big boy here!
There he goes, pushing his stroller around with Morgan following him.

The kids anxiously waiting for the parade to start.
So fun to be with friends!
Trick cars and low riders. Only in So. California!
Karen & Hailey saved us a curb.
Love these two blondies in my life.
Hailey was giving Karen a back massage. Now that's a good friend!
He LOVED watching the marching bands!
And the horses!
And he spotted a fire truck!
Bounce house fun with Grace.
He kept doing these twisted sick moves in the bounce house. 😜
So far, he's never met a bounce house he didn't like.
And then he insisted on pushing his own stroller through the festival.
This is about as close as we get to a hometown parade in our neck of the woods. The bonus is that we get to eat award winning tamales afterwards. This year, we bought a dozen to take home and they were the best yet! The kids' favorites were the pineapple ones and Morgan and I loved the spicy pork!
So much for cooler weather. In years past, we've been COLD at the parade but this year, we could have worn shorts! We definitely had on too many layers. Oh, well!
Zach came home and immediately picked up his drum and started marching with it. So cute!!
Fun memories at his first ever parade!
