We love visiting The New Children’s Museum in Downtown San Diego.
Girl band.
The drums (or pots and pans).
Zachary’s first trip to a museum.
Color the world. At least your part of it anyway. :)
Sculpting with clay.
Painting farm equipment.
Wind energy.
Grapes and pineapple.
They could spend all day in the reading nook.
Fun with bubbles.
So stinkin’ adorable.
We had a great day!
The urban park.
Dinners with daddy.
Which included “The Most Amazing Half Pound Burger” at our hotel’s restaurant. It was so good, we had it TWICE.
My little bandito.
Met up with daddy and Laine at their conference.
A maze of hedges.
City life included lots of walking.
Morgan had a business conference to attend in San Diego last week so the kids and I were able to tag along. We scored a good suite-sized room (for a very reasonable rate) at one of the downtown hotels so that made our stay even more comfortable. Since everything we wanted to do was within a mile of us, we took advantage of the cool and cloudy weather by walking everywhere.
It was Zach’s first time in his pack ‘n play and he did GREAT!
We couldn’t imagine spending 3 nights without daddy so we were totally blessed to be able to go with him, keep ourselves busy during the day, and at least get to spend time with him in the evenings.
“America’s Finest City” never disappoints. There’s always something fun to do for everyone!
