We had dinner in the Presidential Lounge.
Winner of the Cupcake Wars on Food Network, Casey’s Cupcakes is also on the premises of the Mission Inn. Being that it was AWARD WINNING and all, of course we had to try one!
The girls split a Rockin’ Red Velvet Cupcake. They said it was scrumptious!

They even had an outdoor ice skating rink! Too bad the next skate session started at 10pm.
This time of year, over 4 Million lights transform the historic Mission Inn into a dazzling holiday spectacle known as Festival of Lights.
The smell of gingerbread in the air and the clip clop of horse-drawn carriages passing by, definitely added to the lively holiday festivities on Main Street.
Despite the huge crowds on opening weekend, we still enjoyed our special evening as a family.
A fun way to kick-off December!
