Oreo Truffles…. daddy’s favorite.
Peppermint Fudge… the girls’ favorite.
Dark Chocolate Truffles… possibly, my favorite (it’s a tie between these and the peppermint fudge!)
Sweet packages of love.
Quality control.
Off to spread some neighborhood cheer!
We spent the last two afternoons making Christmas goodies to bless our neighbors and the girls’ CBS teachers. All of the treats we made were super EASY. I’m talking 3 ingredients, friends! Well, not if you count the sprinkles on the Oreo Truffles…that would make 4.
Delectable little treats to share with those you love this Christmas season!
My favorite recipe of the three has got to be the fudge. Seriously, I’ve made fudge before but it doesn’t get much simpler than this! Plus, the clean up is a synch. ;)
(As always, thank you Pioneer Woman!)
Quick and Easy Peppermint Fudge
- 1 12 oz. pkg. of good semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
- crushed candy canes or red peppermint candies
Line an 8-by-8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil. Spray the foil with cooking spray.
In a double broiler (or a medium saucepan) over low heat, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk and stir until it's all melted and smooth. Pour it into the prepared pan and spread to even out the surface. Sprinkle on the crushed candies. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Lift the foil out of the pan and peel off the fudge. Cut into small squares.
Enjoy and share!
