It’s Field Trip Week!
The girls and I headed up the mountains to experience Colonial Farm Life at Riley’s Farm…
And Faith lost her front tooth this morning!

Hundreds of other students were there enjoying the field trip as well.
Learning about churning butter and grinding grain.

It was difficult and time consuming to write even one word with Quill & Ink.
Grace tries her hand at weaving.
The blacksmith shows us how he makes musket balls.
They learned a new game called the “Game of Graces.”

So fun to share the experience with friends.

The Colonial Farm Life Adventure Tour gives a glimpse into what it was like to live during the Colonial Days. The kids visited 9 different stations throughout the 3 hour experience, which included many hands-on opportunities.
This was another fantastic field trip from Riley’s Farm! They really know how to do field trips right.
The girls said their favorite experiences were the etiquette training, candle dipping, and quill & ink.
What a FUN day!
