We survived Summer Spectacular week! Well, for the most part anyway. After the girls' nap yesterday, I noticed they developed a slight case of pink eye. Uh-oh. We called the doc last night and got them on antibiotic drops right away. Just to be safe, we had to miss today, the last day. Honestly, I don't think the girls minded all that much. They had a BLAST all week but by Thursday, everyone is running on fumes. I'm thankful that at least now, we can rest up and get better before we leave on our trip. I had a great time serving with my girlfriends and feel bad about not being able to be with them today. Oh well, whatcha gonna do... life happens.

Some Spectacular Stats:

*1,120 kids + 73 preschoolers
*502 volunteers
*outreach: 160 families who don’t attend church

*13k raised by the kids for the orphanage in Haiti.

To say that our church goes "all out" for Vacation Bible School is probably an understatement-- and this was just the preschool program! Most importantly, we pray that hearts and lives were changed for Christ this week!
