Carving Pumpkins

The day after we got back from Riley's Farm, we carved up our pumpkins with the girls' help. They enjoyed scooping out all the seeds and watching how daddy created various jack-o-lanterns. Great job, daddy! Instead of placing the pumpkins outside our front door, we decided to place them on our fountain, in the courtyard- another brilliant daddy idea. That way, the girls could see them anytime. This age is loads of fun because they can communicate their thoughts and remember the details about everything. I love that we are starting new family traditions and creating fun memories along the way.
