That's a wrap!

We wrapped up a wonderful Spring session of Mom2Mom today. This was my second session serving as a table leader and my third session attending. I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my Wednesday mornings. It's my chance to relax, get inspired, chat with other godly women, and serve the Lord. When I first walked into M2M over a year ago, I didn't know a soul. This ministry has really helped me to get plugged in. Being that our church is so big, you really have to get involved in something just to meet anyone. Morgan and I are just now getting to know some great couples and families through church. I'm also beginning to form some very dear friendships through M2M. What an awesome blessing and gift it has been. We take a long summer break but we eagerly start up again in the Fall. Beginning next session, God has called me to a different role on the leadership team. I'll be taking on the role of publicity. I'm creating the first-ever, M2M blog. How cool, right? I never thought in a million years that I would be using my gifts in this capacity but you know what? God knew. I am so excited (and a little nervous!) to be on board and start this new venture with Him. The M2M blog will be a link on our church's website. It will not only be for the 70 or so women in M2M, it will be for anyone who wants to learn more about this ministry. You'll be able to just click on the link and check it out for yourself. Each week, I will post recaps of our guest speakers, devotions and maybe even the occasional pondering of my own. I know that at first, this will take a little more of my time but I am truly passionate about serving the Lord in this way. I'm also thankful that I have some time to relax this summer before I delve into it. Please say a little prayer for me. I hope that I can be a light for the Lord, giving Him glory and praise for everything. I'd really appreciate it!
