Kids Worship 016

For several weeks now, the girls have been part of a new ministry at church on Wednesday nights called the Garden Kids Music Group. Unfortunately, most of the kids in this group got sick the week before Christmas so they weren’t able to perform what they had been practicing before Christmas…

However, today, they got their opportunity!

They kicked off both services this morning with a Christmas medley. It was incredibly sweet to see and hear those precious little ones lift up their voices and use their God-given gifts to worship the Lord and bless the whole congregation.

Such an awesome opportunity for the kids!!

The girls really enjoyed it and of course, they CAN’T WAIT to do it AGAIN!!

Lord willing!! :)

Nothing like a 5 mile hike after Christmas to get your rear in gear for the New Year!! This time, we brought friends and family to the picturesque Ladder & Painted Canyons. Everyone made it the whole 3.5 hours without injury. Success!!

In fact, I think the kids would finish way faster if it wasn’t for us adults slowing them down.

Good times!!

Christmas Day

39

Dawn on Christmas morning and baby Jesus has finally made His appearance into the manger.

40

Sipping my coffee by sunrise and waiting for the girls to wake up.

41

So sweet… She totally saw but bypassed the new bikes and went straight to the Nativity to see if baby Jesus was there. “He’s there, mommy!”

42

Faith tries out her new bike.

Good Morning and Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

55

56

Weeeee!!!

57

The girls have been riding their little 16 inch bikes ever since they were 3 years old. We knew it was time for a big girl bike, complete with kickstand. Although we could’ve waited until their birthday (in March), that would have only given them a few months to ride before our scorching summer months.

We typically don’t buy much for the girls at Christmas but this was really was the perfect time to present them with their new bikes!

And YES, they’ve been riding everyday!

I can’t believe another Christmas has come and gone already. We thank the Good Lord for all the precious moments we spent-- in preparation for His coming and celebrating His birth with our loved ones. Indeed, a very Merry Christmas!!

Lots of laughs to be had!

We’ve been blessed with temps in the upper 70’s this week, which makes for perfect being outside weather. Grandma was able to rent out her beautiful big clubhouse this year so the family had plenty of space to run around and lots of fun activities for all ages to enjoy.

It was fantastic!
